BCPS Shine: Fort Lauderdale High School Student Selected for Summer Internship

Congratulations to Yasmin Harebin, selected as the 2024 summer intern at Conrad & SchererThe Conrad & Scherer Pathways to Careers in Law program selected Fort Lauderdale High School senior Yasmin Harebin as the recipient of its 2024 summer internship. Harebin was selected from a pool of 14 applicants and will gain valuable hands-on experience working at the firm.

“I’ve heard from past interns that this will be an amazing opportunity,” Harebin said. Her participation as a Fellow provided her exposure to the legal field, including interactions with judges and attorneys, visits the Conrad & Scherer offices and local courthouses.

The Conrad & Scherer Pathways to Careers in Law program, now in its third year, is a collaboration between Conrad & Scherer, Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Shepard Broad College of Law and Fort Lauderdale High School’s Law Magnet program. Each fall, law magnet students apply to become Pathways Fellows. To date, 38 students have completed the program, three of whom are now earning a bachelor’s degree in law at NSU.
