WHAT:
Join the Palmview Elementary School community as they welcome Florida Tax Watch for a special presentation honoring Principal Robert Gibson with the 2024/25 Principal Leadership Award.  The event will also feature a surprise announcement for an unsuspecting Palmview Elementary student who is being presented with a two-year college scholarship!

WHY:
The Florida Tax Watch Leadership Award Program, established in 2013, recognizes educational leaders who are creating meaningful changes in their students’ lives, while also promoting their uniquely effective practices among their peers. Principal Gibson is among five elementary school principals across the state to earn the honor. In addition to receiving the prestigious award, Principal Gibson nominated a deserving student to receive an Academic A+ Challenge Match Scholarship sponsored by the Florida Prepaid College Foundation. The student and the student’s family will be in the audience as the surprise is announced.
