If you are going to be ABSENT from school, parents have 48 hours to call the hotline and report the absence OR submit the absence.

Late to School
If you are going to be LATE for school, please have your parent call Student Services BEFORE you arrive on campus.

Early Dismissal from School (Email: sdhsignout@browardschools.com)
If a parent/guardian wants to dismiss a child from school using EMAIL or authorize an adult NOT on your emergency list to dismiss/pick up the child, the parent/guardian must write a letter including their:

1) phone number
2) a copy of the parent's driver's license and phone number for verification
3) name of the student / grade / student ID#
4) method of transportation
5) date and time of dismissal
6) reason for dismissal

*It takes at least 30 minutes for emails to be processed and verified.  We do not call into the classroom to release a student.  Students need a pass from their teacher to report to student affairs to be early dismissed.  Students need to wait at least 30 minutes after an email was sent for the student for it to be processed.*
