Teen Service Squad
Come join HandsOn South Florida at this year’s Florida AIDS Walk. This year's Florida AIDS Walk is a 5 Kilometer walk along beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach. Volunteers are needed to help staff this very popular event, which includes a post-walk music festival!
Site Operations volunteers will be based at the Festival site. Afternoon volunteers will assist with festival site maintenance, water station, site cleanup and breakdown.
Each student volunteer will receive 4 service hours for their assistance at the Florida AIDS Walk.

Come join the Teen Service Squad, HandsOn South Florida’s high school aged volunteers, as we assist in the garden at Miramar Community Garden. Activities include weeding and trimming plants in the garden, general garden upkeep and maintenance and special projects.
This is a wonderful time to get out into the beautiful Florida weather, while making new friends, spending time with old friends and helping the beautiful lands at the garden.
Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing. A hat, sunscreen and bug spray are recommended. Please bring a refillable bottle to refill your water. If you have garden gloves, please bring them as we will be working with soil. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Each student volunteer will receive 2 service hours for their assistance in the garden. Gardening assistance needed at Miramar Community Garden on March 16th from 9:00-11:00am
