BCPS and Broward Sheriff’s Office Hosting Career Fair to Recruit and Hire Law Enforcement Officers, Safety and Security Personnel

Career Fair to recruit and hire law enforcement officers, and safety and security personnel

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Staff, Broward Sheriff’s Office Representatives and City of Lauderdale Lakes Representatives
WHEN:
Thursday, August 23, 2018, 4 – 7 p.m.

WHY:
To protect schools and ensure ongoing compliance with the new state law (Coach Aaron Feis School Guardian Program), which requires a school resource officer or safe school officer at each school, BCPS has partnered with BSO to hold a career fair. Qualified candidates are encouraged to attend.
Resumes will also be accepted for other job opportunities and selected positions. Human resources staff from BCPS, BSO, city of Lauderdale Lakes and other participating agencies will be at the career fair to share job opportunities, review qualifications and answer questions related to the hiring process. No registration is required for the job fair. Interested candidates are asked to bring their resumes.
