We are #BCPS proud of this year’s winners:

“This competition empowers students to see firsthand the impact they can make toward environmental sustainability and reducing their carbon footprint,” said BCPS Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn. “They are learning that they have the power to create real, positive change by reducing waste and building a more sustainable future for all. I commend our students for their focus and determination to make a difference.”
BCPS students from the four winning schools received tickets to the Miami Heat’s game on Sunday, April 13, and were honored with a banner presentation during a pre-game on-court ceremony. For winning first place overall, the Miami Heat will also host a pep rally at Central Park Elementary.
