There’s still time for parents and guardians to submit a School Choice Phase III application for the 2024/25 school year. The deadline is Monday, July 15, 2024. To apply online, visit browardschools.com/schoolchoice.
The School Choice Phase III application window is for magnet programs and school reassignments at schools that have available seats. Parents may also apply for kindergarten seats available at Nova Blanche Forman Elementary School and Nova Dwight Eisenhower Elementary School.
Please note:
- Families new to BCPS and who are submitting their first School Choice application can visit any District school to receive a student number, which is required for the application process. After applying, families will receive an email confirmation. Parents will be able to monitor their child’s application status through the Check Your Status webpage, available via browardschools.com/schoolchoice.
- Families of students placed in a wait pool following the Phase I and Phase II application windows do not need to submit another application unless a different school or magnet program is desired. The original application remains active during the entire process.
- Parents and guardians will be notified about their School Choice application status during the week of August 5 – 9, 2024. This includes notifications on new Phase III applications and updates on applications from Phases I and II.
