Principal's Message

Greetings Bayview Families, and welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!

This is Mrs. Frost, your proud principal, with a few important reminders that will help you get your year off to a great start!

Meet and Greet will be on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, 8:30-9:15 a.m.  This event will be for families of new students and kindergarten students ONLY.  Staff will greet you in the courtyard to steer you to your new classroom and teacher.  Parking will be a challenge and visits to the classrooms will end promptly at 9:15, so please plan to arrive on time.

The parents of our returning students will receive an email by Tuesday that will list the name of their teacher and classroom number.  If you do not receive an email by Wednesday, staff will be available to assist you on the first day.  There is no orientation or classroom visitation on Tuesday for returning students.  Also note that no conferences will be scheduled nor will placements be changed during the first two weeks of school.

PTA is hosting Popsicles in the Park will be on this Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the picnic pavilion in George English Park.  This is an end-of-summer celebration and social opportunity for the children to reunite.

It's time to purchase those gently used school uniforms. The used Uniform Sale includes: boys and girl’s shirts, shorts, jumpers, skirts, pants and jackets!  Come to Popsicles in the Park for the top choice selections.

If you intend to be a school volunteer at any time this year, you must register online as soon as possible at  No one will be allowed to volunteer in any capacity until the school receives electronic clearance.  If you volunteered during the 2018-2019 school year, you will receive an email from the district advising you of your status for 2019-2020.

Finally, a few dismissal reminders.
