Inclement Weather Impacts BCPS Operations
Schools and District Offices will be Closed on Thursday, June 13, 2024

Due to the governor’s Executive Order declaring a State of Emergency in our area, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) will be on closed on Thursday, June 13, 2024.  This closure impacts all on-campus school activities as well camps. 

In addition, the beginning of the planned demolition of the 1200 building at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School will be postponed until Friday, June 14. 

The superintendent and District staff will continue to monitor weather conditions in collaboration with emergency management officials to provide an update on District operations Thursday afternoon. 

The District will continue to provide updated information on our District’s website (browardschools.com) and through our social media accounts – @browardschools – on X/Twitter and Facebook.
