WHY:               
In the 2022/23 school year, all Florida schools transitioned to the Florida Benchmark for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) content standards for English Language Arts (ELA) Reading and Mathematics (including Algebra 1 and Geometry EOC) and to the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) for Grades 3–10 ELA Reading and Grades 3–8 Mathematics.
