WHY:
Broward County Public Schools and the Margate Elementary School community are happy to welcome visitors for a groundbreaking ceremony, celebrating the start of construction for the new six-classroom building. This project and other renovations at the school are made possible through funding provided by the voter-approved SMART Bond. More than $12 million was allocated for primary renovations and other improvements at this school.
