Welcome!

Hello Tiger Cub Parents and Students,

Welcome back to the 2019-20 school year.

New guidelines and policies are being implemented district-wide in an effort to better secure our campuses.  Beginning, Wednesday, August 14, 2019, the parent pick up gates will be opened at 7:30 am for those students going to breakfast and again at 7:45 am for all other students until 8:30am.  The back gate entrance will be opened at 7:30am and locked at 8:00am.   DO NOT drop off your child prior to these times.  There is no supervision.  In addition, the main entrance gate on NW 31st Avenue will be locked and secured at 9:00am.  If you need to access the campus, you will need to call the school at 754-322-6250. We will then send someone to open the gate.  Please understand that this may take some time, so please plan accordingly.

Lastly, parents are not permitted to stand on the sidewalk areas during Parent pick-up and drop off area.  This area is reserved for car riders.  All parents utilizing the car rider loop should utilize the entrance off of NW 30th Avenue & NW 9th street.  Parents should not enter the car loop from the NW 31st entrance and should not park and walk across the car loop traffic.  Please help us maintain a safe and orderly drop off and pick up.  Parents utilizing the car rider loop should  utilize the Student identifier car tag (write your child's name/teacher's name and grade level and place it on your dashboard so that a Drew staff member can easily see it and call for your child.  This will help us maintain a safe and orderly dismissal.  Keep in mind that the first two weeks of school takes a little longer, once routines are establish, the car line time shorten tremendously.

We recognize that these safety procedures may be inconvenient.  We kindly appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work together to keep our children safe.
