BCPS Provides Update on Partnership with SaferWatch Media Briefing on Tuesday, May 28
WHO: School Board Members; Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Superintendent Robert W. Runcie; Brian Katz, BCPS Chief of Safety, Security and Emergency Preparedness; and Geno Roefaro, SaferWatch President
WHAT: BCPS provides an update on the partnership with SaferWatch, which allows the District to receive reports of suspicious activity in real time. Superintendent Runcie and District leadership will share information on the partnership as part of the District’s focus on school safety and ensuring families and community members have as many options as possible for reporting concerns.
