The Avionics Systems Technician Program is an educational initiative and partnership with the city of Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, Atlantic Technical College and Broward College. This program welcomed its first students in January 2020. Students will learn all of the electronics systems and technology for careers in the aviation industry. As part of the program, students also participate in summer internships at the Executive Airport with Atlantic Technical College business sponsors.  As the next phase of program is developed and implemented, the goal is to have a first-class aviation academy in full operation within the next 3 to 4 years.
