Five Additional Candidates Apply to be the Next Superintendent of Broward County Public Schools

After the School Board of Broward County voted to extend the deadline for applications in the national search for a permanent Superintendent of Broward County Public Schools until May 16, 2023, five candidates have been added to the list of applicants. School Board members are expected to select the semi-finalists who will move forward in the process during a Special School Board Meeting on Monday, May 22, 2023. 

The names of the five additional applicants for the Superintendent position are listed below. The two noted in red were deemed to be qualified for the position.
