Just in time for summer, Sunrise Middle students are getting a free lesson on how to play pickleball as they try out newly donated equipment from USA Pickleball and Transworld Business Advisors. The two groups hope to expand access to pickleball in schools, either during P.E. or as an extracurricular activity. Pickleball is a fast-paced game that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong, using a paddle and plastic ball with holes.
