BCPS Honors Students with Perfect Attendance During Evening Among the Stars on Wednesday, May 7

WHO:
Broward County School Board Members; District Leadership, Administrators, Teachers and Staff; and Students and Families

WHAT:
The 2025 Evening Among the Stars celebration recognizes more than 100 BCPS students who have achieved perfect attendance throughout elementary, middle and high school.

  • Elementary School: 5th grade students are recognized for perfect attendance from kindergarten through 5th grade.
  • Middle School: 8th grade students are recognized for perfect attendance from grades 6 through 8.
  • High School: 12th grade students are recognized for perfect attendance from grades 9 through 12.
  • Best in Class: This year, six distinguished BCPS seniors who have maintained perfect attendance from kindergarten through 12th grade will receive prestigious Best-In-Class awards!

WHY:
School attendance is a critical factor in student achievement. The annual Evening Among the Stars celebration honors students, as well as their parents, guardians and caregivers, for having the highest level of commitment to being in school.
