Students get hands-on with science through the experiments and activities that teach them how work through the scientific process. Technology is used to enhance lessons, and students learn basic computer programming skills and coding. Through the engineering design process, students learn how to create, test and improve ideas that are applied to real-world situations. Mathematics is integrated into the lessons through computation, measurement and basic algebra.  In addition to the components of STEM, the goal for students is to learn critical-thinking skills, team-building skills, and communication skills that are essential to 21st century learning.
