Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year! I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable summer break. As we begin this new school year under the guidance of our new school leader, Mrs. Orr, I want to express my excitement about the opportunities ahead and the growth we will witness in our students.
Our focus this year is on collaboration and communication. We believe that when parents, students, and staff work together as a team, our students are set up for success. We are committed to creating a supportive and challenging environment where each student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Please challenge your children to read at least 20 minutes on a daily basis and to use iReady at home with fidelity.
Throughout the year, we will be engaging with you through regular updates, meetings, and events to ensure that you are informed and involved in your child’s education. We encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns, as your input is invaluable to us. Please make sure to volunteer and be involved at Maplewood Elementary. You may want to consider joining our School Advisory Council (SAC) or PTO.
Let's make this school year one filled with achievements and memorable moments. Together, we will help our students reach their fullest potential.
