    The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:

    • an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
    • a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
    • a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

    Maplewood provides enrichment activities as well as an open environment where students feel welcome and included. The staff is experienced with different age groups and is attentive to students' needs.

    • In-house field trips

    After the school bell rings, children in our on-site program are given a safe environment to boost academic skills and develop healthy habits that will cary them through their lives, all under the guidance of caring adults.
