Principal's Message

  • Michelle Engram-Mcknight, Principal

    Dear Parents and/or Guardians:

As the principal of Lauderhill Paul Turner ES, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another year. We are excited to have our students back in our classrooms and our staff is committed to ensuring their academic and social growth. It is our mission to help every scholar feel a part of our school community. Our school operates because of the youth that permeates throughout our walls and its daily practices are centered around ensuring students are always first in the reason for practices and goal attainment. At Lauder Hill PT, we have an excellent faculty and staff who spend hours planning and creating growth activities to ensure we narrow or eliminate any barriers to our student’s growth. We believe all our students should be prepared to be productive citizens and practice it daily with our LPT CREED. We need your support as we continue this journey with our students.

A school is a combination of the students, faculty and staff, our community, and, most importantly, YOU. It is our home-school connection that will enable us to eliminate barriers for our children. It is TOGETHER that we must strive to have shared goals and outcomes for our children. I am honored to serve as the principal in this supportive community of Lauderhill.

It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers, students, and community leaders care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.

Please feel free to contact me at 754-322-6700 or via  school's email.

Welcome back as the LPT Faculty and Staff focus on our THEME for 2023: LPT IS GROWING ~ One School, One Community, One Heart!

    Sincerely,

    Michelle E. Mcknight
