Orange Brook is a very special place...a place where the staff and parents believe in working together to help our students achieve their personal best!  My experience here at Orange Brook has been amazing!  It has been filled with hard work and a massive learning experience for all.

The students here bring joy and happiness to our school.  We are truly fortunate to have such a wonderful group of children at Orange Brook Elementary.  I refer to them as "my kids" because I think of each one of them as my own.  They touch my life and this school by their presence on a daily basis.

Having parental support and open lines of communication is an essential part of a successful school year.  I look forward to working with each and every one of you to develop formidable relationships, to work collaboratively and to continue the legacy of success established by Orange Brook Elementary School.  Please know that my door is always open to you.

It is a pleasure to be a part of the Orange Brook Family.   As the Literacy Coach, I collaborate with staff, students, and community members, as we work together to nurture a love for reading and increase literacy and student achievement. Reading is fundamental to ensure that we are preparing our students to be college and career ready in the 21^st century.   Together we can make a difference!

 

I also take pride in working with our English Language Learners, their families and coordinating the English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program.  I look forward to meeting with the parents/guardians of participating students to discuss and review your child’s progress and answer any questions you may have.

It is my honor to serve as the Math Coach at Orange Brook Elementary. It is my mission to be a constant support to not only the faculty and staff, but to the students, parents and the community, as well. I truly believe that it takes a village to raise a child; therefore, your children are my priority. Their academic success is very important to me, as I know this is key to developing into confident, successful, and conducive members of society.  Math is a life skill that students will need in all aspects of their lives, and it is my responsibility to provide them with the resources and manipulatives needed to prepare them for a lifetime of figuring things out using mathematical skills gained during this crucial time of their childhood. Working together with our families, failure is not an option. I truly believe that school + Home = success!

Serving as your School Advisory Council (SAC) Chairperson, it is my pleasure to facilitate the development and monitor progress of the annual School Improvement Plan.
