Aftercare is from 1:50 – 6:00 pm. The phone number is (754) 322 – 8883 or (754) 322 – 8850.
Attendance please call absences into the attendance line at (754) 322 – 8852. Students are only allowed to miss 10 days for the ENTIRE school year.
Birthdays are recognized in the cafeteria during students’ lunch time. Parents MUST inform the teacher prior to the date of celebration. ONLY store-bought cupcakes or donuts. No other items will be allowed for distribution.
Breakfast: Breakfast is free for all students from 7:10 – 7:40 A.M. Door closes at 7:40 A.M.
Car Loop: Students are to exit cars from the far-right lane only. Parents should not stop and/or exit their cars for any reason while in the car loop. Parents MUST park in the lot if they need additional time with their child or reassurance.
Dismissal Changes: ANY change in dismissal procedure must be in writing or emailed and/or to your child’s teacher before 1:30 pm.
Dress Code: Welleby has a mandatory dress code policy. Ripped jeans and crock shoes are NOT allowed.
Dropped Off Items: Any items dropped off after 8:00 am must have the student’s name and teacher’s name attached.
Early Pick-Up: District policy DOES NOT allow for students to be dismissed after 1:15 pm.
Electronic Devices: All electronic devices such as cell phones, smart watches, and hand devices, MUST be powered off during the school day from 7:50 – 1:50.

- Go to www.browardschools.com/welleby
- Hover over “Contact Us”
- Click on “Teacher”
- Scroll down and click “Send Email”
- Enter information and click “Send Message”
FOCUS:

- Click Create Parent Portal Account
- Enter all required fields with your information and click Submit.
- Select I would like to ADD A CHILD who is already enrolled.
- Enter the Student’s ID Number (begins with 06) and Student’s birthdate, then Select Add Student.
- To add another student, select I would like to ADD A CHILD who is already enrolled. I am Finished adding.
Late Pick Ups: All students MUST be picked up no later than 2:20. Parent signature required after this time. Excessive late pick ups may result in fee obligation.
Lunch: All students at Welleby will receive free lunch. Students will not have access to microwaves or food warmers.
Medication: Students are NOT allowed to have medication in their possession. Nurse will ONLY administer medication to students that have a signed Authorization for Medication Form on file in the school’s clinic.
PTA Store Website: www.wellebypta.com. You can purchase many items including school shirts. All purchases support our school.
Report Cards: Report cards are no longer available in print form. Parents will need to view report cards and interim reports through their child’s FOCUS portal. Students will receive 1 interim report & report card each marking period.
Tardy Policy: Instruction and learning begins at 7:50 am. Students are marked tardy starting at 8:00 am. After 8:00, all students arriving to school at this time or beyond must be escorted into the front office by a parent or guardian.
Volunteering: Volunteers are not allowed on campus until cleared through www.browardschools.com/getinvolved.
