    The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:

    • an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
    • a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
    • a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

    School Board Approved Program

    Our child care program provides a supervised learning and play environment for the students who attend our school. We offer a wide variety of age-appropriate activities and monitored homework time. Our students have opportunities to learn new skills, socialize, and interact with their peer.

    Parent(s)/guardian(s) must complete an application online at https://www.browardschools.com/bascc  

    Please note an application does not guarantee enrollment. Enrollment is based on availability. If the program has reached capacity, your child(ren) will be added to the program’s waitlist.

    • Except on Early Release Days, when AfterCare starts at noon when school is let out.
      AfterCare operates only on days when school is in session. There is no care offered at this time for Employee Planning Days or holidays.
