    The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:

    • an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
    • a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
    • a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

    After School Programs (ASP) Inc., Private Provider Approved by the School Board 

    Providing our programs in a safe and engaging environment is ASP’s highest priority. We work in partnership with each community, school, and family to design a program that meets their specific needs. We draw upon the most effective academic enrichment, physical fitness, nutritional and life skill programs to challenge children and make learning fun. We provide a healthy snack. And, we employ an experienced leadership team of former school district personnel to supervise each program.

  • Program Overview

    Center for Hearing and Communication, Private Provider Approved by the School Board 

    Our after-school program for elementary school-age youth provides a dynamic and inclusive environment aimed at nurturing holistic development. Through a blend of literacy and social-emotional development activities, STEM and arts and crafts projects, enrichment sessions, fitness exercises, nutritious snacks, and engaging field trips, children are encouraged to explore their interests, develop essential skills, and foster meaningful connections. What sets our program apart is its commitment to inclusivity, with activities conducted using both voiced English and American Sign Language (ASL), ensuring accessibility for all participants.

    Youth served: Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late-Deafened, Children of Deaf Adults (CODAs), Siblings (SODAs) or youth with an IEP or 504 plan.
