Dear Parents, Community Members, and Stakeholders,

Welcome to Pembroke Lakes Elementary! I am so pleased that you have chosen to be a part of the Pembroke Lakes family for the 2024 – 2025 school year. In collaboration with our staff, parents, and the community, I am committed to leading our school toward another successful school year.

Pembroke Lakes Elementary has a history of excellence.  We are dedicated to high academic standards, effective instruction, and a positive learning environment, resulting in high student achievement.    

As a Microsoft Showcase School, we strive to establish classroom environments that mirror real-world collaboration through student-centered learning, in order to empower our students to become successful, self-directed, lifelong learners that are prepared for tomorrow’s world. At Pembroke Lakes Elementary School, we focus on classrooms that are thinking-rich spaces where knowledge is constructed through collaboration and critical thinking. We engage students, by design, in our learner-active and technology-infused classrooms. Our instructional practices are designed to provide the best educational experiences for each child through a variety of opportunities.

We take pride in our holistic approach to education. We tend to the social and emotional well-being of our students and provide many extracurricular opportunities, including, Broward Math Competition Team, Chorus, Debate, Drama, Enrichment Masters, Game Day, HOPE Club, Peer Mediation, Pelican Pals, PLETV, Safety Patrols, S.A.V.E. Promise, and Student Leadership Council. Our weekly specials include Media, Music, and Physical Education. In addition, our PTA conducts many exciting family events throughout the year.

I sincerely believe in a school environment that is collaborative in nature and draws on the strengths of all stakeholders, in striving to improve student learning.
