Welcome to Ramblewood Middle School!
We are so excited for you to join our Raider family! The 2019-2020 school year will be filled with exciting adventures of learning and discovery for our students, families, and staff. Our mission at Ramblewood Middle School is to ignite student passion for lifelong learning through advanced technology, rigorous classroom instruction, and community outreach, creating civic-minded citizens with global perspectives. We strive to provide high-quality instruction for all students and set a climate of high expectations as a foundation for success in high school, college and careers.
Our theme this year reminds us that each day, we are BUILDING A STRONG FOUNDATION AT THE RAIDER NATION! Our students will leave RMS equipped with the tools to succeed in high school, college, and careers. They will build 21st Century success skills through project-based learning experiences in every content area. Through structured teacher collaboration, we will engage and inspire our community of stakeholders while motivating and supporting our students to reach their highest potential!
I encourage all students to get involved at RMS! While coming to school on time each day prepared to learn should be a top priority, joining a club, playing a sport, or getting involved in one of the many wonderful arts programs can truly enhance your middle school experience and provide opportunities to build lasting friendships and life skills that will ease your transition from elementary school and into high school.
Parents, I encourage you to attend our monthly School Advisory meetings and get involved in our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). I believe a strong home to school connection is critical to student success. Students’ grades and attendance can be monitored by accessing Pinnacle through our school’s website.
On behalf of the Ramblewood family, I welcome you to the 2019 - 2020 school year! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or for more information about our school.
With Raider Pride,
Cory Ann Smith
