    Heron Heights Families,

As we gear up for another exciting school year at Heron Heights Elementary, I am thrilled to welcome back our wonderful students and dedicated staff. This year is particularly special as we celebrate our 15th anniversary of providing exceptional education and fostering a nurturing environment for our young learners.
Reflecting on our journey, I am immensely proud of the achievements and growth we have witnessed in our school community. One of the highlights from last year was our outstanding performance on the PM3 FAST assessments. Our students excelled, showcasing their hard work, resilience, and dedication to academic excellence. These remarkable achievements are a testament to the unwavering commitment of our teachers, the support of our parents, and the determination of our students. At Heron Heights, we believe in fostering a collaborative and inspiring learning environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
As we embark on another promising school year, we are excited to announce our continued theme for the year: One Team One Goal. This theme reflects our commitment to unity, collaboration, and a shared vision for success. Our primary focus this year will be on enhancing our science curriculum and fostering a love for inquiry and discovery among our students.
A special “Thank You” goes out to our PTO and entire community for raising money for the installation of shades over our playgrounds. This initiative aims to create a safer and more enjoyable outdoor space for our children to play and learn. We are still in the process of completing this project with hopes of it being finished by September.
