Welcome back to another exciting school year at Deerfield Park Elementary! I am thrilled to welcome our returning families and extend a warm greeting to those new to our school community. As the Assistant Principal, it is my privilege to share in this journey of growth and learning with each of you.

I am proud to announce that Deerfield Park Elementary has made significant strides in our academic performance, improving our school grade from a D to a B. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our students, teachers, staff, and families. Together, we have shown that with commitment and perseverance, great things can be accomplished.

Our theme for the 24/25 school year is TEAM - Teaching Excellence Achieves Mastery. This theme encapsulates our commitment to fostering an environment where every student can reach their full potential. By working together as a TEAM, we will continue to build on our successes and strive for even greater academic excellence. We believe that through excellent teaching practices and a supportive community, our students will master the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

As we embark on this new school year, I encourage you to stay engaged and involved in your child's education. Attend school events, communicate regularly with teachers, and encourage your child to embrace the joy of learning.
