“Welcome aboard” as we embark on this amazing academic journey together.  I began my career with Broward County Public Schools at the elementary level as a devoted and loving educator for 11 years as a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher. I have over 19 years of educational experience serving as a successful Middle School Literacy Coach and have proudly served as an Administrator in both the Elementary and Middle School setting. My love for literacy and supporting teachers and students with engaging learning is a true passion of mine.

It is Hollywood Central Elementary School's mission to provide a quality education for all students by providing a safe, orderly and caring environment, offering well-planned learning opportunities, and stressing high, but individualized, expectations. 

It is my philosophy that authentic collaboration with the staff, students, families, and community members at our historic Hollywood Central Elementary School will undoubtedly foster an environment that is conducive to the development and happiness of the “whole child”.  We recognize that to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities.

We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:

• Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience.
• Completes all schoolwork and homework assignments given by teachers.
• Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills.
