Principal's Message

  • Natasha Bell, PrincipalGreetings Pirate Family,

Welcome to the 2022/2023 school year. This year promises to be a phenomenal one at PPE and we are excited to have you as a part of our family. I remain committed to our school’s mission of not only providing quality education but also instilling a love of learning and preparing our students for the future. We believe that if home, school, and community work together, our students will achieve great things. We continue to challenge our students to grow in their academic abilities while preparing them to be ready for the next stage of their educational journey. In addition to providing high-quality instruction, we are also committed to ensuring that each student learns the skills necessary to function in our society. This means that we dedicate time each day to Social and Emotional Learning. Being punctual, prepared, positive, and polite are the four Ps that we follow here at PPE, and believe that excelling at these tenants will allow our Pirates to succeed not only in school but in our world. I am proud of the efforts of our staff and the gains we made in student achievement during the 2021/2022 school year. We faced many challenges with the COVID pandemic. Our students and our staff remained resilient throughout the year. This is evident in the growth our students in grades 3-5 made on the most recent FSA. We increased our overall score by 101 points from the 2020/2021 school year. Parents, partners, and the Pembroke Pines community are all encouraged to become a part of our school family. To partner with our school, please contact us at 754-323-7000. I am honored and humbled to be able to serve the Pembroke Pines Elementary community and look forward to working with all our stakeholders to make this school year a great one.

    Peace and Love, Ms. Bell
