    The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:

    • an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
    • a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
    • a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

    YMCA Private Provider Approved by the School Board 

    YMCA of South Florida. The Y’s Youth Development Afterschool Programs focus on safety, health, social growth and academic enhancement. They are staffed with people who understand the cognitive, physical and social development of kids, the need youth have to feel connected and supported in trying new things, and the caring and reinforcement parents and families need to help each other.

    Activities and Services Offered:

    Please note an application does not guarantee enrollment. Enrollment is based on availability. If the program has reached capacity, your child(ren) will be added to the program’s waitlist.

    After Care $0-$45/per week based on sliding scale fee.

    YMCA of South Florida Registration Fee $10/school year per child; $18/school year per family. See supervisor for payment options

    Our child care program provides a supervised learning and play environment for the students who attend our school. We offer a wide variety of age-appropriate activities and monitored homework time. Our students have opportunities to learn new skills, socialize, and interact with their peers.
