On behalf of our entire school community, I welcome you to Whiddon-Rogers Education Center! We have provided an alternative, non-traditional school setting that proudly serves students at the middle, high, and adult educational levels since 1996, and we are excited and prepared to deliver optimum educational services for the 2024-2025 school year. Our faculty and staff members embrace the philosophy that all students do not learn the same way or at the same pace.  We take pride in responding to the individual needs of each student, and we utilize authentic methods and strategies to assure positive student outcomes.

As the appointed leader of this fine institution, one of my most significant roles is to create and maintain a results-focused learning environment. It takes a determined leadership team and a collaborative environment to implement a sound, competency-based model as we continue to strive to meet the needs of our students from an academic and socio-emotional perspective.

At Whiddon-Rogers Education Center, our doors are always open to those students who, for a variety of reasons, were not successful in the traditional school setting and are in need of a second opportunity to obtain a high school diploma.
