The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:
- an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
- a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
- a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

Private Provider Approved by the School Board
In high school after-school programs, students are provided with tutoring and mentoring as well as with the tools, academic support, and resources they require to be competitive after graduation – whether they attend community college (in partnership with Broward College), a four-year university, receive military training, enroll in an apprenticeship program, or work towards industry certifications.
