Principal's Message

    Dear Floranada Community,

We have had so many great things here at school this year. We have seen our teachers and students soaring to new heights in education. The cooperation and collaboration among students and staff is a priority here at Floranada. Our children work hard together to solve difficult problems and apply their learning to real world problems. Our staff works hard together to make sure that our children get the best education that we can offer.

Our school also has seen great parent and community involvement this year. We have had parents to help in the media center, the classrooms, the diversity play, and at the Floranada Olympics and many other events. We encourage you to stay involved here at school as a parent volunteer or a community volunteer. We would like to expand our business partnerships as well. We hope that you will want to be involved if you have a business in the area. Our kids have been to the local karate studio, the dog training facilities, grocery stores, and even to the retirement communities to help us stay connected with our neighborhood.  We are building life long learners and we want them to stay here in Fort Lauderdale when they graduate.

We want to encourage you to come and see all the great things here at Floranada as we open a new chorus, a recorder ensemble, a bike safety course for the kids and all of the new ventures here. Be ready to be amazed when you get here, because it is truly one of the best schools you will ever visit.

I hope to see you around campus.
