Principal's Message

  • Principal Whitehead

    Greetings, Park Ridge families,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I am so excited to embark on a new and exciting journey together. We are ready to continue the great and impactful work we accomplished last year.  Thanks to our dedicated staff and the unwavering support from our parents, our scholars made remarkable academic gains the previous school year.

We believe that our scholars can make a positive and significant impact on our world.  In everything we do and say, our goal at Park Ridge Elementary is to motivate, cultivate, and encourage our scholars to succeed in learning and reach their highest potential. This year's school-wide theme is…

Navigate and Accelerate Student Achievement" by setting High Expectations All Day, Every Day!

Our faculty and staff are highly qualified and committed to serving ALL scholars and families. Our school’s vision is clear: “Provide a safe environment designed to prepare our scholars to become well-rounded leaders and productive citizens in our society.” We aim to deliver the highest-quality education to ALL scholars, centered around Florida’s B.E.S.T Standards in every classroom, every day. Setting high expectations for everyone is the key to success. Through teamwork, we will make the dream work to prepare our scholars for the future and to achieve high academic standards at Park Ridge Elementary. We are all committed to this goal and look forward to celebrating our successes with everyone.

Working collaboratively with all stakeholders is essential to enhance the learning experience for our scholars. Communication between home and school is vital. I encourage each of you to remain active in your child's education. Always keep the lines of communication open with your child’s teacher and the school. Stay Connected and Stay Involved!

Should you need any support or have any questions, please reach out. Our doors are open, and we are willing and able to assist with your needs.

    Samantha Whitehead,

    Proud Principal
