School Improvement Plan (SIP)

  • A School Improvement Plan (SIP) containing specific objectives and action steps for achieving Florida's educational goals is required for all schools. The SAC has the primary responsibility for monitoring the implementation of the annual SIP. The SIP must be approved by the School Board.

VISION

  • We are dedicated to our students, their families, and our community by fostering respect, leadership, and lifelong learning in an environment that is safe, secure, and incorporates an innovative, hands-on approach to learning.

MISSION

  • Park Ridge Elementary shall be a community that nourishes academic excellence for all students and demonstrates leadership in character development. The Mission statement is intended to serve as both the blueprint for improvement and the benchmark by which we will evaluate our progress.

    I. Climate - Supporting Achievement:
    A. Provides a place where students feel comfortable, safe, and accepted.
    B. Acknowledges and celebrates the achievements of students and staff in learning and leadership
    i. The curriculum promotes intellectual curiosity, creative thinking, and challenges students to reach their full potential.
    ii. High levels of achievement are accomplished through measurable academic standards aligned with the major instructional goals, State Standards, and STEM Curriculum

    II. An Exemplary Staff:
    A. Focuses on increased student achievement with instruction methods that reflect current research and proven effective classroom practices
    B. Models the importance of lifelong learning through their commitment to ongoing professional development
