 Welcome to a new and exciting year at Sandpiper Elementary! As the Principal of Sandpiper Elementary, I look forward to working in partnership with you. Our faculty and staff are committed to student excellence by challenging each one to achieve their potential in a secure school environment.

 I sincerely appreciate your involvement in your child’s education. I encourage you to join Parent Teacher Association , School Advisory Council (SAC), or School Advisory Forum (SAF). These are an important organization that make our school programs successful and provide opportunity to give input in school decisions. We need your support!

 At Sandpiper Elementary, we will continue to work in cooperation with the community to provide academic and social experience designed to develop our students. As we begin a new and exciting year, we are mindful of our purpose. Each morning we begin our day with a school-wide recitation of The Learner’s Creed. This is a powerful statement. We ask that you help to instill it in all of our children and encourage them to practice it each day.

 I believe in myself and my ability to do my best at all times.

Just for today:

I will listen, I will see,

I will speak, I will feel,

I will think, I will reason,

I will read, I will write.

I will do all these things with one purpose in mind,

To do my best and not to waste this day;

For this day will come no more.

 In closing, I am extremely proud to be your principal and I know that we will achieve our goals. I am looking forward to working with each of you and sharing in your child’s success.
