    Hello Silver Palms Families,

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year at Silver Palms Elementary. The method that school is opening this year is unprecedented. Let me reassure you that Silver Palms teachers, staff and administrative team have worked diligently to ensure that the eLearning classroom environment is successful. Our focus is the safety and overall welfare of all stakeholders; therefore, we are beginning the school year with 100% virtual eLearning. This school year will look far different than last school year’s fourth quarter transition to eLearning. As we begin our journey into virtual eLearning, we will continue to soar, elevate and enhance our academic excellence because at Silver Palms Elementary we are champions of our own success!

For returning families, I look forward to seeing you all (virtually) and continuing to serve you, and the entire Silver Palms Elementary community. For families new to Silver Palms, WELCOME! I am excited to meet you and your children. My teachers, staff and administrative team are here to support your family in transitioning to our amazing school. Our staff and school community are all committed to providing the best educational experience for your child at Silver Palms Elementary regardless of the circumstance. Let us know how we may be of service!

We are committed to excellence and preparing our children to be successful members of a global community. Research has identified 21st century skills that our students need in order to be successful in life. We will work to provide our children with these vital skills: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, problem-solving, strong technology skills, ethics, and accountability.

We are excited to continue providing Dual Language classes, Robotics, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), Debate and the Arts.  These among many other academically strong programs will be implement. Furthermore, our character development program will continue as it is a vital aspect of education to help our children develop a kind and caring nature. Character education has a positive impact on our children’s educational experiences and social growth! Here and Silver Palms “Kindness is our Culture!”

We cannot do the work without our families, and each year we strive to strengthen our home-school partnership and encourage all of you to see it as a goal to become more engaged in the Silver Palms Elementary community. We encourage you to attend SAC (School Advisory Council) meetings, become a volunteer, or join us at a school event virtually! We are so fortunate to have such wonderful families, and your support makes all the difference. Thank you all for your commitment in helping make Silver Palms Elementary such an amazing place for our children to learn and grow!
