Clubs and organizations are a great way to help develop character and the skills that will benefit you in school, your career, and in life. Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club or organization. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, develop leadership skills, and boost your college resumé.

Young Men Of Excellence
Excellence in Conduct, Excellence in Appearance, Excellence in Discipline
An Adimu man represents excellence at all times. He sets the example for others to follow. He is unique. He is a "rare" type of man. He realizes that wherever he goes, he not only represents himself but he represents his Adimu brothers and the Adimu Men of Excellence family as a whole.

STEM-ology at Work
Math Counts
Silver Lakes 'Mathletes' participate in after school math competitions. These students are bright, fierce, persistent and they never give up until the problem is solved. Students will be competing on April 7th at Indian Ridge Middle School in the Broward County Council of the Teachers of Mathematics (BCCTM) annual Middle School Competition. This is the first time that SLMS has participated in the competition. Working through the STEM-ology after-school club, SLMS is fielding 7 teams across all grade and ability levels.
