• Cypress Run Education Center is not a "Choice" school.

    Students can only come here two different ways.

    They are either approved or assigned. Please see the following criteria:

     

    Administratively Placed

    1.  Students are Administratively approved/placed.  (Behavior) The boundary school knows the process to have a student approved for Cypress Run Education Center. 
    2.  A packet is put together by the boundary school and is submitted to a committee. Then the committee either approves or denies placement. If placement is approved, the students come to Cypress Run Education Center to complete a level program. Students attend anywhere from 45 days up to 3 years.

    Expulsion

    1. Students are here for Expulsion.  The boundary schools and Debra Kearns are involved with students that are sent here for Expulsion. Students are assigned for Expulsion are here for a 90 day work-back abeyance program or 180 days (one year). Not to exceed one year.

    *Once approved or assigned, placements are mandatory, students must attend and

    complete programs before they are transitioned back to their boundary school.

    Appointments are required for Registration / Intake Process.

    It is important to have those excused.
