Student Bus Stop Information

  • Student Transportation & Fleet Services If your child is registered in his/her school of attendance with the correct address information for the upcoming school year, and is eligible for transportation, you can Register 2 Ride and access your information via Virtual Counselor

If you do not see this information in Virtual Counselor, and you live more than 2-miles from the school of attendance and/or otherwise eligible for transportation, please call your school of attendance for further information. It is imperative that you keep your contact information up-to-date with your school of attendance. Your school will be able to give you access to an existing bus stop (eligible riders ONLY). The addition of new bus stops may take 5-7 working days to establish a safe location and communicate to schools, parents and bus operators. Parent/Guardians of Special Education students should contact the school of attendance for information if they do not see the correct information in Virtual Counselor or need a different bus stop.

After October 1st of each school year, Broward School Board Policy 5300 allows for a student otherwise not eligible for transportation, to ride if there is a seat available on route (s) that serve the school. “Empty Seat Applications” are processed through the student’s school of attendance after October 1st of each school year.

  • Agents/Consultants/Contractors/Vendors/Visitors/Volunteers Training

School Board policies 5.9 and 5010 are applicable to any student, employee, Board member, District employee, agent, consultant, contractor, vendor, visitors, volunteer, or other person in the school or outside the school at school-sponsored events, on school buses, and at training facilities or training programs sponsored by the District. While on school grounds, these adults may be responsible for the welfare of pupils and are expected to know policy information and adhere to behavioral policy standards.
