  • Ms. Shannon Burch, Assistant Principal, Middle Grades

    MsMs. Shannon Burch. Burch Is a Proud Product of the Broward County Public School System. She attended Sheridan Hills Elementary and Attucks Middle School and Graduated from Dillard High School. Ms. Burch attended Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC, and Earned Her Undergraduate Degree from Florida Atlantic University.  She Also Received a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Florida International University. Ms. Burch was a Language art and Reading Teacher and Worked in Various District Training Departments Before Becoming an Assistant Principal in 2008.

  • Mr. Leslie Farr, Assistant Principal, Middle Grades

    Mr. Leslie Farr Mr. Farr attended high school at Jamaica College in Kingston Jamaica. He earned his undergraduate degree at West Virginia Wesleyan College and graduated from Nova University with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Mr. Farr taught Health and Physical Education at Plantation High School prior to becoming an Assistant Principal at Coral Glades High School. He has also worked at Clarke County High School in Virginia as well as Boyd Anderson High School. When he is not at work, Mr. Farr can be found either on the golf course or at one of our local fishing piers. However, his true passion is speaking with others about spiritual things. Prov. 3:5-7

  • Mrs. K. K. Maxwell, High School Assistant Principal

    Mrs. K. K. Maxwell With a deep passion for science literacy, Ms. Maxwell began her career in education in 2002 at Seagull Alternative High School as a multi-disciplinary science teacher and later department chair in the Hospital Homebound and Teen Parent Program. Prior to being appointed Assistant Principal, Ms. Maxwell was a science coach at Lauderhill 6-12 and a few years earlier at South Plantation High School.  She also has extensive experience as a secondary science Instructional Facilitator in multiple district departments. Ms. Maxwell holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Florida A & M University, a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, and a Certificate of Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. Lauderhill 6-12 STEM MED School has a rich sense of Panther pride, tradition, and community involvement.  Since joining the L612 community of learners, we have had 100% graduation and scholarship recipients since 2017. As an instructional leader, it is my desire to help students of Lauderhill 6-12 meet their fullest potential by providing an environment that is safe, supports self-discovery, maintains high expectations, and invites the sharing of ideas.
