    • Athletics plays an important part in a child's life. Team sports and activities promote good physical health, social skills, and communication skills. When students learn to work together as a team, they build a foundation for good sportsmanship.

      Athletic Director Anthony Shinhoster
       
      He is entering his 4th year in this position. He is a graduate of Bethune Cookman College, with a degree in Physical Education/Recreation. He is a 13-year employee in the Broward County School System. He spent 10 years as an Elementary PE Coach and spent 2 years as the Athletic Director at Perry Middle School before taking over at Hallandale. Mr. Shinhoster is an extremely hard worker and completely committed to the success of his Student-Athletes and all of the Athletic Programs.
