    The mission of Before and After School Child Care (BASCC) is to provide students enrolled in Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) with:

    • an inclusive child care program in a safe and nurturing environment
    • a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of each child
    • a program that meets the highest quality of childcare standards

    The City of Oakland Park Afterschool Program provides a supervised learning and play environment for the students who attend our school. We offer a wide variety of age-appropriate activities and monitored homework time. Our students have opportunities to learn new skills, socialize, and interact with their peers.

    The City of Oakland Park Summer Camp, Private Provider Approved by the School Board 

    The City of Oakland Park Summer Camp Experience: Each week students will discover a new culture through art, sports, food, dance, and much more! Students will be able to select their own experience activities for the entire camp! Field trips will be each week with amazing events every Friday. Monday-Thursday Breakfast, Lunch & Snack includes Fridays - Lunch and Snack only provided

  • Specialized Program Overview

    The City of Oakland Park, Private Provider Approved by the School Board 

    The City of Oakland Park offers Teacher planning days are days when there is no school for children. The City of Oakland Park offers a safe organized environment offering parents peace of mind and children a day of excitement and fun. Activities include games, sports, tournaments, movies, and field trips. On some non-school weekdays when the City of Oakland Park Parks & Leisure Services Department is open, the program hours are 7:30 am - 6:00 pm. A field trip or unique activity will be a part of the day. Generally, the Public School Holiday Program is open on Employee Planning Days and closed on legal holidays. Lunch and snack is provided unless otherwise instructed.
