    Dear Coral Springs Pre-K – 8 Families,

    WELCOME BACK!!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer. I also hope my families are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. I am so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. I know that we are going to have a wonderful school year together. It is my pleasure to welcome everyone back, and to extend a very special welcome to our New Bear families, and incoming Kindergarten students. Our theme for this school year will continue from last year, The Essence of Teamwork…One Vision, One School, One Goal. Families, in effort to move our school to the level of where it should be, we need to work as a team.

We look forward to a very positive and productive year together! We extend a special, yearlong invitation to our families to join us at school activities and events whenever possible. We want . . . we need . . . and we value your involvement and support in your child’s education! Your active participation is key to the success of our students.

Please know that we highly value home/school communication here at CSPK8, it is vital and plays an integral role in each student’s success. We encourage you to contact us if/when the need arises, and to stay in the know about your child’s studies, assignments, assessments, and school activities, as well as other events and happenings. I encourage you to initiate positive relationships with your child/ren’ classroom teachers.

In effort to maintain the safety and security of our school, we will continue to emphasize enhanced safety procedures for our school. This year we are happy to have Officer Mulvey and Officer Gibson return as our SROs. Additionally, Mr. Gillis will be our Security Specialist, and we will have two campus monitors. We will also continue to enforce limited access to our campus. Please see detailed arrival and dismissal procedures attached. As a reminder gates will be locked promptly at 8:30 each morning. Parents bringing students after 8:30 AM will need to park and sign students in for the day.

Again, we welcome you to our wonderful learning community . . . a school community with much energy . . . enthusiasm . . . and a high standard of excellence. Here’s to an AWESOME new school year as we work together to make our school a great place to work and learn each day!

    Educationally Yours,

    Ms. Vonda L. Oliver
