Greetings Shark Family,

We are Teamed Up for Success and Bringing our “A” Game at New River Middle School. I am happy to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! I believe that all children can learn if given support and educational experiences. I recognize that to be successful, our children need support from both the home and school.  As partners, we share the responsibility for our students’ success, and I want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities at school. I ask that you support your child’s learning by ensuring that they:

1.  Attend school daily and arrive on time, ready for the day’s learning experience.
2.  Complete all homework assignments given by teachers.
3.  Read daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills.
4.  Share their school experiences with you so that you are aware of his/her school life.
5. Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject.
6.  Know that you expect him/her to succeed in school.

I invite you to join our school volunteer program and School Advisory Council (SAC). Our students will benefit from your involvement with our school.
