School Board Policy 5006 and the Code of Student Conduct outline the offenses that may lead to student expulsion from the traditional school.  Pine Ridge Education Center is an approved abeyance site by the School Board.  Students are provided an academic program that mirrors the courses at their home school. Dependent upon the nature of the offense, expulsion abeyance students are temporarily placed at our school from 90-180 days.

 Throughout their stay at our school, students are regularly visited by their case managers.  School bus transportation and free/reduced priced meal services are available as well.  At the culmination of their stay, the students are transitioned back to their home schools.
