If you are visiting our school, whether to have a teacher conference, to attend a special event or to have lunch with your child, you MUST sign in and wear a pass. All visitors must enter the school through the main office door, and sign in the "Visitor Sign-In" book. You are required to bring your driver's license for proof of ID and to receive an electronic visitors pass. This visitors pass must be worn at all times the entire time you are on school grounds. You must also sign out before you leave. Under no circumstances are parents or visitors allowed to enter the school without signing in and receiving a pass.
Broward County School Board Policy does not permit elementary students to transport medication to or from school. If your child needs to be administered any medication during the school day, an Authorization for Medication form is required. This form must be filled out and signed by you and your child's doctor and returned to the school office before any medication may be administered. Authorization forms are available in the office. Children may NEVER have medication, prescription or non-prescription, in their desks or backpacks. Authorizations are good for only twelve (12) months. Medication must be in its original container and be properly labeled. Parents are responsible for bringing to school and picking up from school any authorized medication.
