Dear Falcon Parents and Students,

I hope this message finds you and yours well.  It is with pride and honor that I introduce myself as the new principal of Charles W. Flanagan High School.  I share a deep sense of Falcon pride, as I was an assistant principal at Flanagan for ten years, from 2007 to 2017.  I have a loving wife, Dawn, and two exceptional children, Eve and Emma.  I have witnessed Flanagan’s success as a leader and parent; Eve graduated from Flanagan in 2020.  I also have been the principal at West Broward High School for six years; I’m excited and honored to return home and embrace Flanagan’s rich tradition of academic and social-emotional success.  As part of our community, I look forward to sharing Flanagan’s history and witnessing the outstanding accomplishments of our student body and faculty. 

I respectfully request we embrace Charles W. Flanagan High School’s Mission of:

Building on the solid foundation established by prior leaders of excellence, our teachers, students, and parents have worked together to continue building a lifelong learning tradition in cooperation with community support. Flanagan emphasizes that our students' strengths are constructed both on and off campus and that it truly takes a family to help our students reach their full potential.  A sense of community is what our Falcon students need to flourish in an environment that embraces pride transcending for years beyond their graduation.

Our school's highly qualified and dedicated staff, compassionate school counselors, extra-curricular opportunities, and many mentoring programs all work to meet students' emotional and social needs. Flanagan has established a culture that fosters personalization for academic and social-emotional learning.

As a Falcon, expectations are set high, and success is yours to achieve. The pride and success of Flanagan’s history request you the path to continue with strength in creating your legacy.  It is your turn to make history, be there for each other, and continue to build on the rich traditions that have become Falcon Pride!
